Dr. Triveni Malaghan completed her MD in Psychiatry from the Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (DIMHANS), one of Karnataka's premier psychiatric training institutions. Her training spanned both hospital and community-based mental health settings.

She has a particular clinical focus on sleep disorders, addiction, and sexual health — areas that carry social stigma but are highly treatable with the right care. She has also worked under the District Mental Health Programme and brings a community-oriented, accessible approach to her practice.
